Elizabeth Morales was born in Brooklyn New York and migrated to Lowell Massachusetts in 2001. She earned an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice before integrating as a Fire Fighter in the city of Lowell. Elizabeth has been recognized, at the first Puerto Rican women fire fighters in Massachusetts to drive a Fire Truck. Not just any Fire Truck, but Engine #3 (E3). She takes good pride to what she does, and serves as a great role model to all residents of Lowell. |

Miguel Salaman son of Elizabeth Alicea has received numerous awards for his contribution to sports at the Lowell High School. His dedication to sports and his community has been admired among those who know him well. Miguel was the recipient of the 2006 Silver Ball for the Lowell High Varsity football team. In addition he has also received the following awards:
